I wanted to shake up my life and go sailing (or learn on the job, so-to-speak) so headed to Florida to crew on a catamaran. This is about how it went or, rather, didn't - and my life since. Hopefully it will lead to a catamaran on the clear aqua blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, watching the sunset, a coconut rum and coke in hand. You must START AT THE BEGINNING of the blog, April 2009, to get the whole story...

  2. Wow, just saw this. That's crazy. It looks like it's gone down a bit in the next post thought. I really hope you are feeling okay? It will all be worth it soon!
I miss you lots, wish I could be there to help you get soup and ice!
We are headed to Tofino tomorrow for the week so I'm not sure how much internet stuff we will be doing. I will try and keep in touch though.
    I love you!

  3. Hi Ashleigh! I woke more swollen today than I am in those pictures!! I have been icing all day and it's gone down a lot again.

I will be coming back in January to get the bottom teeth done. Maybe you can come with me then. We'll talk.

Have a great time surfing! Be safe! xoxo

  5. Thanks Cary! And yes, just waiting for the ferry to Anegada after spending my first night on Tortola. I can hardly believe that I am here! I wish you were too!
