Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream...the goopy vaseline type, not the white creamy stuff. My wife used to be a trainer for Arden and she swears by it. I swear at the $25 cost however I too use it on cuts where its healing qualities are amazing. The story is that Elizabeth Arden (originally from just north of Toronto)had a fire in her horse barn. She started to experiment on the surviving horses with a new cream that she was developing. Within 8 hours there was improvement in the burns....ergo the name. For years, pre-FDA, it was used in hospital burn units. When FDA rules came about Arden decided to forego all the FDA testing and focus the brand on cosmetic industry.

WOW! Thanks for that tip. I will have to see if it's available here in Canada and hopefully it is and doesn't cost a stupid amount more than you pay in the US. Almost everything is way more expensive here than there. I might have to start making some road trips to Bellingham if Strivectin is.

Ok, here's what I've found lately. Stivectin SD. I get mine at Marshalls and pay much, much less than the advertised amount. Costco also carries it. I got the stuff for stretch marks, even though I don't have any. I wanted to try it on my chest where years of lifeguarding as a teen damaged my skin considerably in that area. Suddenly it was looking a little less like the skin I know and more like crepe. Not happy. At all. There seemed to be striations that looked a little like stretch marks. So I started using this cream on my neck and chest, and up onto my face. In about 3 weeks I can already tell a profound difference. The skin is smoother, more elastic, and those striations are going away. Thanks for the botox tip. I'll keep it in mind. Women need to stick together on this stuff!I'm going to start using the Strivectin on the back of my hands and see what happens. It can't hurt. By the way, I'm all for growing old gracefully. And I consider the use of good skin care and a little high/low lights in the hair to be part of that process. NOthing wrong with trying to keep what you already have.

I like reading about what goes on behind the scenes. I rarely notice these little 'mistakes' in a film but I know people who do notice them. Now they will have even more food for thought as they try to figure out why the 'mistake' was made!
